During the midterm elections of 2022, things like democracy, abortion, gun safety and LGBTQ+ rights were on the ballot, especially at the state level. Electing governors who will fight for people and the planet was essential. With 36 different governors races to support, the DGA needed all hands on deck electing Democrats as the states' last line of defense.

By harnessing the power of social media, via Tik Tok, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook, the DGA was able to connect with voters across the country. Creating sharable, on-trend graphics helped the DGA to build hype for the election and educate voters on the candidates and issues. Design of email fundraising campaigns also helped the DGA support campaigns through the election cycle.

The Blue Wall proved strong in the 2022 midterms and 21 Democratic governors were elected! More women governors, queer governors and governors of color were elected in states across the country than ever before. With all that winning, celebratory graphics were created to honor this historic election year for Dem Govs.
