Laura Kelly, a Democratic governor in the largely conservative state of Kansas, was up for reelection. After 4 years of getting Kansas back on track by fully funding schools, axing the food tax and making Kansas a more inclusive place to live, Laura Kelly needed a Get Out the Vote campaign that reflected her commitment to working for all Kansans, regardless of their political party.
Drawing inspiration from her campaign branding, a fun and dynamic visual system was created to promote Governor Kelly's Get out the Vote tour. The branding was made with motion in mind and a series of animated graphics built hype on social media. They were also used in real time to keep tour posts on-brand. Assets like social banners and Mobilize graphics followed suit to create a cohesive GOTV campaign. After one of the most competitive governor's races in the country, Laura Kelly won!
